“ I have created Mantra Dance after 20 years of personal spiritual practice. My journey to develop my mind, body and spirit with conscious actions and practices began in 1997. My yoga and meditation always leads me to movement with musical mantras. From here, two dance forms were born. One I called Deva Dancing – which is a solo practice - and the other is Mantra Dance for two or more people. Deva Dancing can be practised by any number of people together at once but the connection is one to one between the person and energy. Mantra Dancing is about the connection between two or more people and energy. As a facilitator and teacher of these dance forms, I focus on addressing balance. The balance of energies and forces in spiritual practice is very important to me. The ultimate goal by engaging in either of these dances is to enhance and transform energy and bring a grounding of expanded awareness.” |
