My name is Sally Hill and I have been practising yoga for some 30 years. I was a dancer as a child from the ages 5-13 and was able to connect with my body and movement from a young age. Also, my mother always practised yoga regularly and I would join her in her practice from a young age. My mother was also a practising spiritual healer and she taught me how to chant mantras, sit in meditation and release healing energy to the world or where ever it was needed. She gave me my inspiration to seek out my purpose and continue on my spiritual path.

I was taught Lee Style Tai Chi for around 5 years by a friend, who himself was studying to become a Tai chi teacher. It was during this time that I began to fully connect with my own energy centers and connect with the earth and nature around me energetically. I was able to feel the power flowing around me and was also able to see this energy.
I always practised simple Hatha Yoga postures as well as Tai Chi routine daily.
I decided to join an established yoga group. Here I dedicated myself to the practice of Iyengar yoga. For 3 years I practised and studied this style of yoga, it allowed me to take my time and really feel the energy of each movement. I also studied and practised Vinyasa flow and have recently completed a 200 hour Kundalini Tantra Yoga teaching course. This I feel is who I truly am, working with kundalini and tantra energies.
My approach is gentle and slow moving to allow for the connection and flow of energy. To really get into each movement, to feel this with a loving heart. Yoga has taught me how to accept who I really am, enables me to transform myself into a spark of light that radiates in and around my mind, body and soul. The pranayama techniques enable the mind to become silent and the body to become still, to completely relax yet cleanse the areas of the body that need it. The mantra chanting has an energetic effect on a person’s vibration and can be very powerful.
Though I have years of experience, every day when I step onto the yoga mat, it is as though for the first time. Each morning, after practice, I feel vibrant, energetic, humble, confident and much more.
I hope to take each of you on a special Journey of the Self, to allow you to connect to who you truly are and to uncap your hidden potential as a worthy human being. You will discover how to treat yourself with tenderness and open up your intuition to a greater understanding of yourself and others. This will enable you to achieve what you really want and to help others when necessary.
My love for Yoga has been my security and stability throughout my life and has never let me down. It is a part of me and who I am. I am blessed to be able to guide and teach anyone on this beautiful journey.
